Installation method of antibacterial and anti-corrosion doors

The installation method of antibacterial and anti-corrosion doors needs to be adjusted according to specific material and scene requirements. The following is a comprehensive installation process and precautions:

1. Preparation before installation

Measurement and material selection

Accurately measure the size of the door opening (width, height, diagonal) to ensure compatibility with the door body (error ≤ 2mm).

Choose corrosion-resistant materials (such as polypropylene, PVC, or modified wood) and matching hardware to meet environmental requirements (such as high sealing in medical settings).

Tools and Accessories

Prepare tools such as electric drills, expansion bolts, level gauges, sealant, etc; Check if the door frame, hinges, and fasteners are complete.

Clean up the debris in the door opening to ensure that the wall is flat and free of standing water.

2. Door frame installation

Positioning and fixation

Position the door frame according to three lines (horizontal line, centerline, and finish line), and adjust the verticality with a spirit level (error ≤ 2mm).

Use expansion bolts or welding to fix the door frame, and reinforce the steel structure wall with self tapping screws or connecting plates.

Anti corrosion treatment

Reserve a gap (about 5mm) at the contact between the door frame and the ground, and fill it with waterproof sealant or anti-corrosion gasket to prevent moisture from penetrating.

3. Door leaf installation and adjustment

Door leaf fixation

Insert the door leaf into the door frame, pair it with the door frame through hinges, fix it with screws and adjust its level.

Check the smoothness of opening and closing, ensuring no friction or jamming, and even door gaps (recommended gap 2-3mm).

Sealing enhancement

Install sealing strips or waterproof boards at the edge of the door frame to enhance air tightness (suitable for medical and laboratory scenarios).

Fill gaps with acid and alkali resistant sealant to enhance corrosion resistance.

4. Functional testing and maintenance

Performance verification

Simulate the use environment (such as splashing water, acid alkali sputtering) to test the sealing and anti-corrosion effect.

Check whether the antibacterial coating or ventilation structure (such as wooden doors with ventilation blades) is intact to avoid installation damage.

Post maintenance

Regularly clean surface stains to avoid scratching the antibacterial and anti-corrosion coating with hard objects; Check if the hardware is loose.

5. Special scenario precautions

Medical facilities: Priority should be given to aluminum alloy edge sealed doors to reduce seam bacteria accumulation, and disinfection treatment should be carried out after installation.

High humidity environment: Install waterproof pads or anti-corrosion protective plates at the bottom of the door to avoid direct contact with water stains.

By standardizing the installation process and handling details, the antibacterial and anti-corrosion doors can ensure long-term performance and adapt to different scene requirements.
