2. We can also judge by looking at the appearance. The surface of a high-quality fire door should be flat and smooth, without obvious dents or mechanical damage. The welding points are evenly distributed, and there is no false welding or burning through. The corners and joints of wooden fire doors should be kept tight and flat, and plywood should not have the situation of planing through the surface veneer.
3. We can also choose to explore its internal filling. By removing the "cat's eye", put your hand into the hole to feel the internal filling. The type and corresponding parameters of the filling material should be consistent with the type inspection report.
4. People can check the door frame seal. Fireproof door frames will be equipped with fireproof sealing strips. Note that the sealing strips should be kept straight and without arching.
5. Another small method is to weigh the weight. Regular fire doors are much heavier than ordinary steel doors because they use a lot of insulation materials. By weighing the weight of the fire door, you can also preliminarily judge its quality.
6. The last is the combustion test. People can conduct a combustion test if conditions permit. You can first take a small piece of door frame material and ignite it to observe the combustion. If the flame goes out in a short time, it means that the material has certain flame retardant properties.
